CHICAGO, October 19, 2004 - Braxton-Reed, the Oakbrook Terrace-based IT solutions firm, today announced the launch of www.midwestorthonet.net, the new secure client portal and promotional web site for Midwest Orthopaedic Network, the leading orthopaedic specialty network with over 120 orthopaedic physicians in the Chicago area.

Braxton-Reed and Midwest Orthopaedic Network have worked together extensively over the years to include the design and development of a customized practice management system for Midwest Orthopaedic Network which consists of billing, marketing and document management functions. Midwest Orthopaedic Network chose Braxton-Reed to build their web site, needing to not only promote their business, but also facilitate communication between them and their physicians via a secure area within the site. The resulting site provides in-depth information for customers about physicians in the network, but also connects the physicians to certain data which is fed from the practice management system built by Braxton-Reed.
